Gusting Winds Wrap Up Fall Season For the Dolphins

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - More gusting winds of 20-25 mph and wet conditions on Tuesday again caused havoc for the Jacksonville men’s golf team in the final round of the Eagle/Osprey Intercollegiate held at Deerwood County Club. The Dolphins posted a 310 team score to finish at 925 (314-301-310) for the 54-hole event.

Jacksonville took 14th amongst the 15 teams while junior Brett McKinnon paced the Dolphins for the fourth time in four events this season as he tied for 26th at 10-over, 216 (75-74-77).

Vanderbilt clamied the team title carding an 876 while Logan McCraken of Tulsa claimed medalist honors with a five-under 211. 

Jacksonville willreturn to action after the winter break when the team plays host to the SeaBeat Invitational at TPC Sawgrass in Pontre Vedera.
