Dolphins Sit in 5th after Day One of A-Sun Championship

BRASELTON, Ga. - Jacksonville University men’s golf holds onto fifth place following the completion of Day One of the 2014  Atlantic Sun Men’s Golf Championship on Sunday. Colin Monagle paced the Dolphins 304 team score with a two-over 74.

Monagle is tied for 12th after making one birdie against three bogeys on Sunday at The Legends Course at Chateau Elan in on a Par-72, 7,032-yard layout. Nick Torrance and Connor Salanger each shot a four-over 76, good for a tie for 20th in the individual standings.

The A-Sun Conference Championships continues with second-round play on Monday beginning at 8 a.m. (ET). All the action can be followed live on the Internet at www.golfstatresults.com.
