MACON, Ga. - For the second week in a row, freshman guard Sherranda Reddick has landed Atlantic Sun Newcomer of the Week honors.
Very instrumental in JU’s 74-42 success over cross-town rival North Florida, the Jacksonville native scored 20 points on 6-of-8 shooting from the field including 3-of-4 from downtown. She also recorded five rebounds, three assists, and three steals and was careful in protecting the ball with just one turnover in 32 minutes of action.
Reddick currently ties Stetson’s Brianti Saunders as the highest scoring freshman in the conference with an average of 14.6 points per game and is ranked third in three-points made.
The Dolphins (6-8, 3-0) return to Swisher Gymnasium on Thursday, Jan. 16 to play Lipscomb at 7 p.m.
