JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – After two straight record-breaking outdoor meets to begin the season, the Jacksonville University track & field team will travel to the University of Florida to compete in the historic 2014 Pepsi Florida Relays, April 3-5. The meet features top talent from the high school, collegiate and professional ranks.
“The Pepsi Florida Relays is one of the best track and field meets in the country every year,” said Head Coach Ron Grigg. “The combination of Olympic, professional and top collegiate athletes will produce excellent performances across every event.
“We are excited to be invited and we plan to use the opportunity to improve our individual and relay performances. Many school records should be in jeopardy this weekend,” Grigg continued.
The Relays are slated to begin at 5 p.m. on Thursday. Nine Dolphins will represent the meet in 12 different events.
