Fins Prepare For No. 5 Florida in Opening NCAA Round

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville University volleyball team is headed to the NCAA Tournament. The Dolphins have drawn a first-round match-up against No. 5 Florida, sladed for Thursday at 7 p.m.

Jacksonville (30-3) earned an automatic bid for the NCAA Tournament after winning the Atlantic Sun Championship with a 3-2 win over Lipscomb on Saturday, Nov. 23. The Gators are 27-3.

The Fins are making their second NCAA appearance and first since the 2004 season.

Georgia Southern and Florida State face-off at 5 p.m on Thursday. The winners of both matches will advance to the second round.
