JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – After winning performances at last Saturday’s Wake Forest Invitational, junior Shadaey Campbell and sophomore Kree Clark swept the second week of the Atlantic Sun Women’s Indoor Track & Field weekly awards. Campbell earned her first career track performer of the week award, while Clark earned her third career field performer of the week honor, the conference announced on Wednesday, Jan. 15.
Campbell won the 60-meter dash in 7.53 seconds, a time that tied for first in the conference and for 28th nationally. She also ran on the top collegiate 4x400-meter relay team that finished in 3:43.95 to lead the conference and rank 10th in the nation, while also finishing fifth in the 200-meter dash to rank second in the A-Sun and 36th nationally.
Clark was victorious in the weight throw and earned second in the shot put at the Wake Forest Invitational, both earning A-Sun leading marks. Her throw of 17.82m ranks 36th in the country and her shot put performance of 13.24m ranks 97th in the nation.
