Crew Names Timothy Inabinet Assistant Coach

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Timothy Inabinet, a former head novice and freshman coach at Christchurch School (Virginia) and assistant at the University of Charleston, was named head assistant of the Dolphin men's and women's rowing programs, head coach Jim Mitchell announced today. Inabinet, who brings 16 years of rowing experience as both a competitor and coach, will assist in the coaching of the varsity and novice boats for JU's men's and women's teams. Inabinet comes to the Dolphins after four years as an assistant for both men's and women's rowing programs at Christchurch School, where he led the men's squad to a regional title in 2004 and consecutive Boys and Girls State and Regional Team crowns from 2001-03. At Christchurch, he assisted the varsity eight squad, implemented training programs, assisted in the development of all Seahorse rowers and was also as a coach for the Summer Crew Camp program. "I'm very excited to have Timothy join our coaching staff," Mitchell said. "His experience and dedication to the sport will help us continue the great winning traditions of JU rowing." Prior to Christchurch, Inabinet was the assistant crew coach (1998-2000) and a student crew coach (1995, 1997-98) for both the men's and women's programs at the University of Charleston. Inabinet also rowed at the University of Charleston from 1992-94 and received his bachelor's degree in sports science in 1998.
