Oct. 17, 2007

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The inaugural Cliff Warren Coach's Clinic was hailed as a success as caoches from junior college, AAU, high school and youth levels made their way to JU for a day full of basketball.

Among those in attendance were former JU head coach Joe Williams along with former Dolphins Artis Gilmore, Rex Morgan and Rod McIntyre from the magical 1970 team that advanced to the NCAA title game.

The clinic featured a speech by Georgia Tech head coach Paul Hewitt and practice drills that Coach Warren uses daily in individual workouts, as well as team drills.

"We were happy with how well the clinic went this year and look forward to making bigger and better in the years to come," Warren said. "It was special to have some important members of the JU basketball family come back and spend the day with us."
