Volleyball falls to South Florida, 3-0

TAMPA, Fla. - The Jacksonville University Volleyball team lost 3-0 (15-8, 15-10, 15-3) to the University of South Florida at the Corral Saturday night.
With the loss, the Dolphins fall to 13-9, as the Bulls improve to 18-4 on the season.
JU had three players hit .300 or better, but the Bulls were able to hold them to a .059 hitting percentage as a team.
For the Bulls, setter Melanie Mueller set a career high with five service aces, half of the team total, 10. Michelle Collier had the most kills for the night with 19, and freshman Jenny Scholle hit a USF team-high .313 as she notched six kills in 16 attempts, while committing only one error.
The Dolphins return to action Thursday, Nov. 2 as they travel to Tallahassee, Fla., to take on Florida A&M at 6 p.m.
