Aug. 21, 2007

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - As another exciting season of JU Athletics approaches, the JU Insider will make its triumphant return for 2007 by airing live from the Mudville Grille in St. Nicholas, every Tuesday night at 7 p.m. beginning on Aug. 28, assistant athletics director for marketing & promotion Barry Milligan announced on Tuesday.

"Mudville Grille is the classic neighborhood sports grill in Jacksonville," said Milligan, who will host the show as "The Voice of the Dolphins". "We are very excited about this relationship and look forward to a fun season with all our JU Football fans joining us every Tuesday night for the show."

All JU fans are welcome to make their way to the Mudville Grille for some good food and a chance to see JU head coach Kerwin Bell up close and personal as he joins Milligan each week to break down the upcoming game for the Dolphins while also recapping the previous weekend. Milligan will also be joined periodically by men's soccer head coach Mike Johnson, women's soccer head coach Chris Kouns and volleyball head coach Shaun Kupferberg to update listeners on their respective programs.

"There is a new excitement about JU Football with Kerwin Bell as the head coach," said Louis Joseph, owner and operator of the Mudville Grille-St. Nicholas. "With the growing interest, we think having the JU Insider show at our establishment is a great addition to our nightly special events."

For fans who cannot be in attendance, the JU Insider will be broadcast live on 1010XL. 1010XL, the new sports talk station in Jacksonville that will have a 50,000-watt signal later this year, will serve as the flagship station of the JU Sports Network.
