JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - With the air of excitement surrounding the JU football team, season ticket sales are going at a brisk pace for the upcoming season.
Season tickets are available for $80 for the six home game schedule. Parking passes in the tailgate area, which guarantee parking next to D.B. Milne Field, are on sale for $60.

"With the new interest in JU football, our season ticket sales are well on its way to where we projected," said Carter Henderson, JU director of tickets and marketing. "Coach Bell's arrival has brought a lot of excitement to the program and we feel that once you come to a game, you will want to come back for every one."
The first two games of the season are on the road, with the home opener set for Sept. 22. All six home games will kick off at Noon.
PRACTICE REPORT: The Dolphins added to their gear on Thursday, going in helmets, shorts and pads as they went through two hours of practice and gear for their day in full pads with Saturday's scrimmage.
The two-hour practice started later than usual due to a thunderstorm in the area that turned the heat after is passed through the area.
JU continued the installation process of its offense and defense, with a the younger guys getting a lot of plays as they prepare for the first scrimmage on Saturday at 10 a.m.
"Today was a tough practice because we wanted to get the younger guys in there and to see where they can help us at," said JU head coach Kerwin Bell. "We had showed some flashes of what we can do, on both sides of the ball. Once these guys get the system down, we'll be in good shape."
