Baseball Game vs. Florida State Postponed Due to Weather

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Tonight's Jacksonville University baseball game against No. 8 Florida State at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville has been postponed due to inclement weather. The game has been rescheduled for Wednesday at 6 p.m. at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville. Tickets purchased for tonight's contest will be good for Wednesday's game or any other remaining JU home baseball contests at Alexander Brest Field in 2005. The game will mark the first Division I contest to be played at the home of the Jacksonville Suns, the AA-affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers. The first intercollegiate contest held at the facility was Edward Waters College and Savannah State on April 14, 2004.

The Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville will also serve as host for the 2005 Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Baseball Championship, May 24-29.
