Baseball cancels Wednesday game against Florida Gulf Coast

April 30, 2007

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Jacksonville University baseball has cancelled its home contest against Florida Gulf Coast on Wednesday, May 2, head coach Terry Alexander announced on Monday.

The game against Florida Gulf Coast was cancelled due to the Dolphins having too many games on their 2007 schedule. JU, which has not had a cancellation this season, originally set up the game to counter any non-conference games that were cancelled due to weather.

After having a week off, the Dolphins will return to action against Bethune-Cookman on Tuesday at 7 p.m. for a non-conference contest at Jackie Robinson Stadium.
