JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - JU freshman Stephen Healy wrapped up his pre-collegiate career last week by tying for fifth at the Irish Boys Amateur Championship.

Healy was in the lead the first two days, posting a two-under par 70 and a one-under par 71. He closed the tournament amid tough conditions with a two-over 74 and three-over 75 to tie for fifth at two-over par, 290.

"This was a great experience for Stephen," said JU head coach Jim Taketa. "It's good to see him competing at high level as he starts his college career in the coming weeks."
