Men's golf ties for seventh at CSU Fall Invitational

CHARLESTON, S.C. - The JU men's golf team jumped two places to finish in a tie for seventh at the Charleston Southern Fall Invitational.

Justin Jones and Michael Main tied for 21st to have the best finish individually for the Dolphins. JU posted a final round 310 to finish in a tie for seventh at 912, 48-over par.

Radford won the 12-team competition at 886, 22-over par. Patrick Rada of South Carolina won the individual competition at four-under par, 212.

Jones shot a five-over par 77 in the final round to finish at 11-over par, with Main carding a seven-over par 79 to fall back into a tie with Jones.

Christian Martin had the best round of the day for JU, posting a two-over par 74 to finish in a tie for 35th at 231, 15-over par.

Joshua Kinsey posted a final round 80 to finish in a tie for 48th at 234, 18-over par. Stephen Healy shot an 85 in the final round to finish alone in 60th at 239, 23-over par.

The Dolphins wrap up their fall season on Nov. 5 at the Western Carolina Invitational.
