JU To Hold "Take A Kid To The Game" Football Program

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Area youngsters will have an opportunity to experience the college game-day atmosphere when JU hosts NCAA Football's annual "Take a Kid to the Game" program this Saturday, Oct 11. Kids ages 12-and-under receive free admission to watch the Dolphins take on arch-rival Davidson in the Pioneer Football League opener at 12:30 p.m. at D.B. Milne Field on the JU Campus. In addition, Jacksonville Jaguar mascot Jaxon DeVille and his friends will be on hand for a special 4-on-4 mascot football game at halftime.

JU is one of more than 150 schools across the nation that are participating in this campaign, focused on attracting more of the nation's youths to college games. The "Take a Kid to the Game" program is entering its ninth year in the promotion of NCAA Athletics.
