Russell Knox named a Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - After having one of the best seasons in school history, Russell Knox continues to receives awards as he was named a Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar on Wednesday.

Only juniors and seniors are eligible to be a Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar and must have at least a 3.2 cumulative grade-point average and a stroke average better than 76.0.

"This is a great honor for Russell and one that is well deserved," said JU head coach Jim Taketa. "When its time for golf, he goes out and devotes every ounce of energy to it and when it's time for school work, he does the same. This is a great achievement."
