ST. GEORGE, Utah - JU senior Duncan Stewart tied for the individual title before falling on the first hole of a sudden-death playoff to lead the Jacksonville men's golf team to a 10th place finish at the Pat Hicks Invitational.

Stewart carded a four-under par 68 on the par-72 Sunbrook Golf Course to finish in a tie with Southern Utah's Aaron Weston for medalist honors at nine-under par for 36 holes.

Weston, who had carded an eight-under par 64 in the final round, birdied the first playoff hole to deny Stewart his eighth collegiate title.

Joining Stewart in the top 20 was Russell Knox, who carded another one-under par 71 to tie for 19th at two-under par 142.
