Jacksonville sophomore goalkeeper Mike Miller (East Brunswick, N.J.) had a career-high nine saves, but it was not enough as Maryland defeated the Dolphins 4-1 Friday evening at the Coca-Cola Classic.

Senior forward Mladen Dikic (Lovran, Croatia) put JU on the board early with an unassisted goal from five yards out just 8:35 into the match, but it was all Terrapins after that as Maryland scored four unanswered goals and held the Dolphins to just three shots.

Bob Birch, A.J. Herrera, Brian Vitagliano and Reed Rickert each scored a goal and Beckett Hollenbach had a pair of assists for Maryland. Vitagliano tied the score at 1-1 less than five minutes after Dikic's goal, and Herrera scored the match winner on a header off a corner kick from Nick Downing. Birch and Rickert's goals each came in the second half.

The Dolphins continue tournament play Sunday afternoon when they take on host Virginia at 2:30.
