Sophomore forward Steven Command (Brighton, Mich.) scored with 56 seconds left in the first half to lead the Jacksonville University men's soccer team to its third straight victory as the Dolphins defeated Florida Tech, 3-1, Thursday night at the Florida Tech Soccer Complex.

Command's goal was a header off of sophomore midfielder Michael Blackburn's (Arlington, Texas) corner kick at the 44:04 mark to put JU up 1-0 as the Dolphins led throughout the contest.

JU (3-3) scored its second goal at 67:07, when Blackburn took a pass from freshman defender Sean Steed (Kissimmee, Fla.). The third and final goal was an unassited shot by freshman forward Hamdy Bonin (Lower Caldecote, England) at 74:51 in the contest.

Florida Tech (2-2) got on the board at 68:56 in the match, when Chris Hyvonan scored an unassisted goal.

The Dolphins return to action Thursday, Sept. 28 when they open TAAC play in Atlanta, Ga., versus Georgia State at 4 p.m.
