South Florida Defeats Men's Soccer, 2-1, in Overtime

The Jacksonville University men's soccer team fell to South Florida 2-1 in its third straight overtime match Sunday afternoon at the USF Soccer Complex.

The Dolphins are now 5-4-3 overall and 2-0-3 in TAAC Play. The Bulls improve their record to 8-8-0 on the season.

Sophomore midfielder Michael Blackburn opened the scoring at 63:39 in the second half when he scored on a one-on-one situation.

The Bulls would rally and score less than seven minutes later to knot the game at one. South Florida's Gabriel Salgado would score the game-winner in the 102nd minute to give the Bulls the victory.

The Dolphins' next match is Tuesday, Oct. 24 when they travel to DeLand, Fla., to take on TAAC foe Stetson.
