JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - After downing cross-town rival North Florida on Sept. 30, the Jacksonville University men's soccer team will travel to North Carolina for a pair of Atlantic Sun matches beginning on Thursday.

The Dolphins (3-6-1, 1-0A-Sun) open the week in Buies Creek, N.C. against preseason favorite Campbell at 7 p.m. They wrap up with Gardner-Webb on Saturday in Boiling Springs, N.C., at 1 p.m.

"This is an important road trip for us," said JU head coach Mike Johnson. "If we do well in these two games, then we have the chance of controlling where our team will go in the conference. We will have one or two guys out, but hopefully someone new will step up and help us out this weekend."

In the A-Sun opener, freshman Stefan Runeman scored his first goal of the year on a diving header, from Bojan Milicevic's pass, to give the Dolphins a 1-0 victory against the Ospreys at the UNF Soccer Complex.

The win also evened the second annual SunTrust River City Rumble standings with the Ospreys and secured JU's third-consecutive Dennis Violett Memorial Cup.
