JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Senior Tommy Krizanovic had a goal and two assists, while senior Greg Roytman and sophomore Sebastian Lindholm each added their first goals of the season as the Jacksonville University men's soccer team downed Georgia Southern, 3-1, in the regular season finale at the Ashley Sports Complex on Tuesday night.

Senior goalkeeper Chad Comroe added four saves to help secure the Dolphins' (6-10-1, 3-4 A-Sun) win and senior Bojan Milicevic recorded his second assist of the season in the match.

"We really wanted to come out and win this one for the seniors," said JU head coach Mike Johnson. "More importantly, we wanted to get a win at home to set the tone for next season. Our team is very young and we have to get in the right mindset to win at home.

"For a while, our young team was a little unfocused this year. I feel like we are all getting back on the right page and focused to hopefully cause some damage in the A-Sun Tournament."

The Eagles (8-5-3) gained the initial lead when Daniel Smith scored off a deflection from his foot on assist by Danny Hall at the 36:20 mark of the first half.

Less than 25 seconds later, Roytman evened the match by scoring his first goal as a Dolphin in the top left corner of the net with assists by Krizanovic and Milicevic.

Lindholm helped the Dolphins gain the 2-1 advantage in the second half after lacing the ball in the right side of the post from a pass by Anton Axelsson and Krizanovic.

Krizanovic put the game out of reach in the 81st minute when he added his conference-leading 14th goal of the season on a cross from Axlesson.

The goal was his 47th for his career, which put him alone at third all-time in school history.

The Dolphins will have a week off before traveling to face No. 4 seed Belmont at the A-Sun Tournament in DeLand, Fla., on Thurs., Nov. 2. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
