Men's Tennis Falls to Wofford, 5-1

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The JU men's tennis team took the doubles point against Wofford but lost five singles matches, including two tiebreakers, to fall, 5-1, to the Terriers Sunday afternoon at the Alexander Brest Tennis Complex.

Juniors Ben Birkmann (Bremen, Germany) and Christoph Mueller (Waldsassen, Germany) won at No. 1 doubles, while sophomore Martin Hehensteiger (Schechen, Germany) and junior Andres Rojas (Guatemala City, Guatemala) claimed victory at No. 3 doubles.

JU travels to South Alabama on Sunday, Feb. 8 for an 11 a.m. showdown with the Jaguars.
