Men's Tennis Falls to Radford, 2-5

JACKOSNVILLE, Fla. - The JU men's tennis team captured one doubles point, but lost 5-of-6 singles matches to Radford, 5-2, Friday afternoon at the Alexander Brest Tennis complex.

JU (7-8) sophomore Martin Hehensteiger (Schechen, Germany) won the lone singles match at No. 1 in three sets over Brandon Johnson, 6-3, 2-6, 6-4. Junior Ben Birkmann (Bremen, Germany) and junior Christoph Mueller (Waldsassen, Germany) combined for a win at No. 1 doubles against Vasarevic and Cavaco, 8-2, while Hehensteiger and Neil Sehgal (Cincinnati, Ohio) defeated Johnson and Soeur at No. 2 doubles, 8-5.

JU will play Citadel at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 23 at the Alexander Brest Tennis Complex.
