Rachael Click enters her first season as a graduate assistant coach on the JU softball staff. Click will work exclusively with hitters and assist with the Dolphins outfield.

Last season, Click served as an assistant coach at The University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire. She was also involved in all aspects of the coaching staff - including recruiting, scheduling and working with the Blugolds on offense and defense.

Click was instrumental in helping the Blugolds host the Division III NCAA Championship at their field. She participated in conference calls with the NCAA Board Members, site visits and general tournament preparation. Click was also in charge of promoting the event and organized the team community service component.

In her collegiate career, Click was a four-year starter at Gustavus Adolphus College. She earned four All-Conference selections and a three-time All-Region honoree.

As a senior, Click guided her team to the most successful season in program history. The Gusties won the conference title, placed first in the NCAA Regional Tournament and finished third in the NCAA Division III Championship. Click was named to the Regional All-Tournament and the NCAA Championship Finals All-Tournament and the NFCA All-America teams. She was also the conference “Player of the Year” and the Gustavus Female “Athlete of the Year.” As a freshman, Click was named the conference “Rookie of the Year.”

Click currently holds career school records in home runs (35), runs batted in (179) and slugging percentage (.835).

Off the field, Click had her fair share of academic accomplishments after receiving three COSIDA Academic All-America honors and earning a NCAA Post-Graduate Scholarship.

The Rochester, Minn. native earned her bachelor’s degree in elementary education in 2009. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in education with emphasis on sports management and leadership.
