Women's Tennis Defeats Stetson, 7-0

The JU Women's tennis squad completed its seventh sweep of the season, handing Stetson a 7-0 defeat in Atlantic Sun conference action on Wednesday afternoon in DeLand, Fla. The Dolphins improve to 17-4 on the season.

The Dolphins earned the doubles sweep to take the early 1-0 lead.

JU continued to dominate action in singles play as Mami Inoue (Kobe City, Japan) and Dorien Geertsema (Gorinchem, Netherlands) each splipped past their opponents with three set wins. Senior Tiffany Pinciotti (Tampa, Fla.), Kim Packer (Adelaide, South Australia), Martyne Dallman (Cape Town, South Africa) and Nisrine Hajbane (Casablanca, Morocco) each followed with straight set victories for the Dolphins.

JU will be back in action on Monday, when they host Bethune-Cookman at 1 p.m. at the Alexander Brest Tennis Complex.
