After a sacrifice from Korcak to move Houston to second, junior first baseman Lauren Redfern (Jacksonville, Fla.) reached by an error from Panther shortstop Mary Kathryn Branan that scored Houston. JU would score once again off a Georgia State error giving the Dolphins a 2-0 lead. JU would get their only earned run from single by senior center fielder Monica McGee (Starke, Fla.) to score Korcak after her triple. Dobson gave up only two hits and struck out seven batters in the shut-out win.

Georgia State won game two, 2-1, from Cadance Jones third inning home run off Dobson to give the Panthers their first conference win of the season.
