High School under Lawrence Yelding…finished career with an astounding 1,816 strikeouts, 74 shutouts, 13 no-hitters and 11 perfect games…listed 33 times in the pitching records of the Alabama state record book…earned all-state accolades in her senior, junior and sophomore seasons…as a senior, named Class 6A “Pitcher of the Year” after posting a 42-7 record with an 0.38 ERA and had a career-best 622 strikeouts, 33 shutouts and five perfect games…also earned Super 12 “Player of the Year” honors as well as all country and MVP of the Daphne Tournament accolades…as a junior, she went 30-9 (0.51 ERA) in the circle with 502 strikeouts, 22 shutouts, five no-hitters and four perfect games to guide her school to a Class 6A Area 2 Championship…named to the Mobile Press-Register Super 12 team and Baldwin all-county team, while also winning MVP honors with the South All-Star squad…tallied a 34-13 record with a 0.89 ERA as a sophomore to lead the Trojans to a state Final Four appreance…fanned 511 batters, had 17 shutouts, eight no-hitters and two perfect games (one in the state playoffs) en route to earning Mobile Press Register Super 12 and Baldwin all-country team accolades…struck out 61 batters and earned MVP of the Baldwin County Tournament as a freshman…also helped led the Trojans to a spot in the state Elite 8.
