BARBARA GOLEMAN SR. HS: Four-year starter behind the plate at Barbara Goleman Senior High School in Miami Lakes, Fla. under Manuel Miyar…led the Gators to consecutive district titles….earned MVP and All-Dade County second team honors in her first two seasons…finished career with a .452 batting average (90-199), a .547 on-base percentage and 78 RBI in 78 games…as a sophomore, she recorded a career-best .556 batting average (30-53) with 10 doubles, four home runs and 26 RBI…hit .444 at the plate with 19 RBI as a freshman…also lettered in bowling as a junior and senior.
