JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – In celebration of Jacksonville University baseball's record-setting season, the team is gathering on Monday, May 28 to watch the NCAA Tournament Selection Show together at noon.
Friends, family and media are invited to join the team to look back on a season in which the Dolphins earned the school's highest ever RPI rating and re-entered the Top-25 polls for the first time since 1997, and also look forward to the possibility of the team's first at-large bid to an NCAA Regional since 2011.
Doors to the JU River House open at 11:15 a.m., with the show starting on ESPNU at noon. Food and drink will be provided.
JU entered Saturday with an RPI of 17 and was projected as a two-seed in a regional by both D1Baseball and Baseball America entering the ASUN Championship. Jacksonville fell to Stetson and North Florida on Friday of the ASUN Championship, after winning its first two games of the tournament. The Dolphins currently hold a record of 39-19, its highest win total in a season since 2006.
