JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – After an ASUN Championship in which Jacksonville University baseball won two games, three Dolphins were honored as part of the All-Tournament Team.
"Well deserved recognition for all three of these players," said Head Coach Chris Hayes. "They all delivered in critical moments during the tournament."
Camacho, also named to the All-Conference First Team and All-Academic Team this week, fueled JU's win on Wednesday in the Championship opener, hitting a go-ahead two-run home run in the fifth inning as part of a three RBI day to help the Dolphin's to a 9-6 win. The junior first baseman finished the week 6-15, with five RBI and the home run.
Dubrule, also named to the All-Conference First Team this week, makes the All-Tournament Team for the second straight season. The sophomore shortstop finished the week with the most hits for the Dolphins, going 7-15, with a team-high three doubles. He also drew three walks, scored four times and knocked in three to top the half century mark in RBI for the season.
Someillan, a first year member of the All-Tournament Team, had the most RBI on the team for JU this week, driving in six over the course of the four games, including three vs. Stetson on Friday morning. In total, the sophomore centerfielder went 5-14 with four runs scored and reached base via free passes four times; once on a walk and was hit by a pitch three times.
Jacksonville awaits its postseason fate, as the Dolphins are projected to earn an at-large bid to an NCAA Regional for the first time since 2011. The team is holding a watch party for the selection show on Monday at the JU River House.
