Tuesday, Jan. 8 - Perfect Game/Rawlings Preseason All-American Third Team

Mauloni was named to the Third Team, his second preseason honor leading into the 2019 season. Players were selected to the Preseason All-American Teams based off of their past performances, 2019 projections and prospective talent in relation to the MLB Draft.

Monday, Dec. 17 - Collegiate Baseball Preseason All-American Third Team

It is Jacksonville's first Preseason All-American since 2016, when RHP Michael Baumann was also named to the Third Team by Collegiate Baseball.

Mauloni, a Jacksonville product who attended nearby Oakleaf High School, served as the Dolphins' closer last year, making 28 appearances in his first campaign at JU. He finished last season with a 3-2 record and 2.53 ERA in his 32 innings of work in which he also racked up 48 strikeouts. His contribution helped JU to an NCAA Regional appearance for the first time in seven years.

Jacksonville opens the season at home against Indiana State on Feb. 15, 2019.
