Joseph Anderson is a native of Stone Mountain, Georgia. After graduating from high school, he attended Lenoir-Rhyne University as a student-athlete. Excelling both on the football field and in the classroom , he was an accomplished three-year starter for the football team by bying named a two-time Academic All-America at defensive back.
He graduated in three and a half years Summa Cum Laude, and then went on to pursue his passion for impacting young men through coaching. He was hired on at his alma mater as a Graduate Assistant before being promoted to the Wide Receivers Coach at Lenoir-Rhyne.
After a year coaching at his alma mater, he was granted the opportunity to coach Division I football at Jacksonville University in 2015. Joseph Anderson is now the cornerbacks coach at Jacksonville University and his impact on the corners have been immediate, as both corners were named all-Pioneer Football League Honorable Mention during his first season.
Coach Anderson is married to his lovely wife and high school sweetheart of two years. When asked about her he said "she is the main reason I am able to do what I love, her constant support and flexibility makes me a better coach and better man."
