JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – In the second of three games in just seven days, Jacksonville University's men's basketball team (6-3) will host Eastern Kentucky University (5-4) on Wednesday in its second home game of the season. The game, sponsored by Green Dot, will be a "Green Out" game in which fans are encouraged to wear as much green as possible. The first 500 students to arrive at the Historic Swisher Gym will receive a free green t-shirt. The halftime entertainment for the "Green Out" game will be the Disc-Connected K9's.
Parking is available day of game on a first-come, first-served basis, and there will be a $5 charge. Individuals without parking passes, who enter the campus via Alumni Dr., River Rd., Dolphin Dr. or Green St., will be directed to parking lots A, B and C near the University Blvd. entrance.
All are required to have a ticket, credential or be on a pass list to gain admission to the game. Tickets can be purchased in advance at JUTickets.com, and all major credit cards are accepted.

Recapping the Last Game
In a game that defined the meaning of the word momentum, Jacksonville University's men's basketball team (6-3) came out with the final run of the night, taking down Bethune-Cookman University (2-7) Monday night at the ICI Center. The Dolphins defeated the Wildcats 76-66. Jacksonville led by as much as 15, but allowed a 12-0 run to the Wildcats midway through the second half that narrowed that lead to just three points. JU hit its final 10 free throws and won by 10 points.
Scouting the Opposition – Eastern Kentucky
Eastern Kentucky University (5-4) has accrued an impressive 4-1 mark at home, taking down the likes of Marshall University and Western Kentucky University. On the road the Colonels have struggled a bit more, going just 1-3 away from Richmond, Ky., and 0-2 in true road games. Nick Mayo leads the Colonels' offense with 20.2 points per game, and also collects 6.6 rebounds per game. The Colonels average 79.6 points per game, fourth in the Ohio Valley Conference, and allow 78.6 points per game, 11th in the OVC. Eastern Kentucky is led by second-year head coach Dan McHale.
