Jacksonville Off to North Carolina for Donald Ross Invitational

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Jacksonville men's golf team is off to North Carolina for the Donald Ross Invitational hosted by Appalachian State October 13-14 at Mimosa Hills Golf Club in Morganton. The 54 hole event begins on Monday and runs through Tuesday. Live scoring is available on www.birdiefire.com

Representing Jacksonville is Colin Monagle, Franck Medale, Connor Salanger, Brett McKinnon and Raul Pereda. Ryan Jahn will be competing as an individual

The 10-team field features Appalachian State, Presbyterian, Brevard, Longwood, Jacksonville, Saint Leo, Grand Canyon, High Point, Gardner-Webb, Wofford  

The Dolphins enter the event at No. 89 in the latest Golfweek/Sagarin Rankings. Monagle was No. 57 nationally as an individual in the system following his record breaking performance which earned him a runner up at the Golfweek Program Challenge last month.
