JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville University men's golf team continues its spring season with the SunTrust Gator Invitational, Feb. 14-15 where 54-holes of stroke play will be conducted in shotgun format from the par-70 6,701 yard Mark Bostick Golf Course. In Gainesville, 36-holes will be played on Saturday, with the final 18-holes of the 14 team tournament concluding on Sunday at 10 a.m.

The Dolphins have a tournament title and a tournament runner-up already this season and have not finished outside the top-10. In the opening tournament of 2015, TPC Sawgrass' Dye's Valley Course proved to be a challenging event for course sake and with the level of competition.

"We are trying to test our kids with the best competition possible," said head coach Mike Blackburn. "Gator Invite is no different with the level of competition. The course has been redesigned, and the greens have been redone and we are looking forward to going there."
