VERO BEACH, Fla. – The men's golf team of Jacksonville University returns to action Monday at the 2016 Quail Intercollegiate. The Dolphins will look to improve on last season's seventh place finish.

The 7,350-yard, Par 72 course will host a field of 15 teams, including Jacksonville (51), Liberty (22), Kansas (30), North Florida (37), Arkansas (38), Michigan State (43), North Texas (54), Ohio State (57), Middle Tennessee State (61), Mississippi State (75), Indiana (77), McNeese (87), Notre Dame (93), West Virginia (96), and Memphis (129).

David Wicks, Raul Pereda, Ryan Jahn, Elliott Fullalove, and Sam Uhland will compete for the Dolphins.

Last season the Dolphins were in third after two rounds, but struggled in the final round. Franck Medale had a great individual performance, tying for second overall with 10-under-par 206.

The weather forecast for Monday's shotgun start calls for cloudy skies and temperatures around 66 degrees warming up to 78 degrees by 2 p.m.
