VERO BEACH, Fla. — Elliott Fullalove guided the Jacksonville University men's golf team to a fourth place finish Tuesday at the Quail Valley Collegiate Invitational, the final event of the Fall 2016 schedule.
Fullalove finished tied for seventh individually with a three-round total of 210 (69+69+72). The junior from Kingswood, England, had 39 holes of par or better, including 9 birdies and one eagle. Raul Pereda was just one stroke behind Fullalove with a card of 211 (73+68+70). The senior from Cordoba, Mexico, had 13 birdies and 36 holes of par or better. David Wicks also finished in the Top 20, tying for 15th with a score of 212 (69+72+71). Ryan Jahn carded 215 (69+73+73) to tie for 24th overall, and Sam Uhland tied for 71st with 228 (76+79+73).
Michigan State won the event with a score of 835, besting the University of North Florida by two strokes. Arkansas took third with a score of 845, and Jacksonville came in fourth with 848. 22nd ranked Liberty rounded out the Top 5 with 849.
Jacksonville opens the Spring 2017 schedule with the Sea Best Invitational, hosted by the Dolphins at TPC Sawgrass on February 6 & 7.
