JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The men's golf team of Jacksonville University opens its 2017 spring schedule Monday at the Pablo Creek Country Club in a match play against the University of North Florida.
Match play will feature nine holes of best ball with the winner of each grouping taking one point, nine holes of alternate play with the winner of each grouping taking one point, and 18 holes of six individual matches worth a point each.
The event will take place on the 7,026-yard, Par-72 Pablo Creek Club, designed by Tom Fazio in 1996. It was rated 62nd among the Top 100 courses in the U.S. for 1999. It has a course rating of 73.7, and it has a slope rating of 132 on Bermuda grass.
