BRASELTON, Ga. - After two rounds of the 2017 ASUN Conference Championship, Jacksonville University's men's golf team is in fourth place. All five Dolphins are among the Top 16 competitors on the individual leaderboard.
ASUN Men's Golfer of the Year and All-ASUN First Team member David Wicks leads the Dolphins with a two-round total of 145. The senior from Bexhill, England, is tied for ninth with 30 holes of par or better, including five birdies. Sam Uhland is second on the team after two, tied for 11th with 146. Second Team All-ASUN Raul Pereda is just one stroke behind Uhland at 147 and in solo command of 13th place, Ryan Jahn is tied for 14th with 148, and at 149 Elliott Fullalove is tied for 16th.
Kennesaw State leads the team competition with a two-round total of 568, and North Florida and Lipscomb are tied for second with 578. Jacksonville is fourth at 586.
Fullalove will begin the final round Monday at 9 a.m., and will be followed by Jahn, Pereda, Uhland, and Wicks in eight-minute increments. There's a slight chance of rain for most of the day with mostly cloudy skies and a high of 79.
