Wicks Represents Jacksonville, Europe in Arnold Palmer Cup

JOHNS CREEK, Ga. – Jacksonville University's David Wicks has accomplished quite a lot in his two years with the Dolphin men's golf program, breaking records set by PGA Tour winners, earning the first ASUN Conference Player of the Year award in over a decade, and leading the Dolphins to their first appearance in the NCAA National Championship. His days officially representing JU will come to an end this weekend in the Arnold Palmer Cup as Wicks competes for Team Europe Friday through Sunday at the Atlanta Athletic Club.

The Palmer Cup is a Ryder-Cup style competition that will feature three rounds of match play on the 7,613-yard, Par 72 course located on the banks of the Chattahoochee River. Team Europe is coached by David Inglis, Head Coach of Northwestern's men's team and a native of Scotland, and Alan Murray, Head Coach of Washington's men's team and a native of Ireland.
