The Lowdown
• The Dolphins opened the 2017-18 season 19 days ago with a win at the Bridgestone Invite, their second win at the event in the past three seasons. Uhland had the lowest score for Jacksonville with a two-round total of 144 to finish second individually. Pereda and Krishnan also had Top 10 finishes with the Dolphin duo tying for sixth at 148 apiece.

• The last time JU competed in the Tar Heel it was cut short by the oncoming of Hurricane Matthew, which dumped over a foot of rain on the course. Trailing early, JU made a push towards a comeback and trailed the first-place team by just 10 strokes when the final round was canceled. Uhland tied for 13th in the event with a card of 143, Pereda had 145 in 26th place, and Fullalove tied for 30th with 146 on the day. 2016 team champ UNCW returns for the 2017 iteration.
