"There are not many chances the state of Florida gets to see the best players in the world live in action," stated Galloway. "This October 27th, Jacksonville University will host 22 of the best players in the MLL to scrimmage our JU men's lacrosse program in a charity exhibition to raise money for the Nemours Children's Specialty Care in downtown Jacksonville."

Proceeds of the event will benefit Nemours Children's Specialty Care in Jacksonville and the JU men's lacrosse program. Nemours works with Wolfson Children's Hospital, University of Florida College of Medicine-Jacksonville, UF Health/Shands Hospital, and Mayo Clinic Florida to provide life-changing care for children, from newborns to age 18, with common and complex conditions.

"The World's Largest Outdoor Lacrosse Party, which will be played on the eve of the Florida-Georgia football game, will highlight pro player autograph opportunities, live music, children's bounce houses, and a VIP biergarten to provide unlimited access to the action. This is the best lacrosse festival the state of Florida has to offer," Galloway added.

"We look forward to having the Florida community out to enjoy the festivities and help support all that Nemours has done for the city of Jacksonville!"

Among the pro players, fans will have the opportunity to see four-time Major League Lacrosse All-Star and three-time All-America Joel White, All-Star and three-time All-America Randy Staats, two-time All-Star and 2014 national champion and Most Outstanding Player Jordan Wolf, and All-America and 2015 ESPY-nominated for Best Play Blaze Riorden.

The party begins at 5 pm and the game is set for a 7 pm faceoff.
