Among the Division I competition, the Dolphins will face Bethune-Cookman, Florida International, Florida Atlantic, Miami, South Florida, and Central Florida – along with ASUN foes Florida Gulf Coast and Stetson.

The Dolphins previously ran the USF Invitational two years ago, as the men placed seventh and the women took fourth.

At last week's FSU Invitational, the men finished sixth as all five Dolphins improved on their season-best times. Sophomore Alex Turnock, who raced to a career-best time of 27:19.3, placed 29th overall to lead Jacksonville. Junior Brett Gerhardt was next for the men with a 40-second improvement from his previous race this season in 28:26.4 (35th).

The Dolphins return to the course in two weeks on Oct. 28 for the ASUN Championships, hosted by Kennesaw State.
