  • Ragan Selected by Outkast in 2018 ASBA Summer League Draft

    For the first time in Jacksonville University softball history, a Dolphin was drafted to play softball professionally. Recent graduate and standout Madison Ragan was selected by Outkast in the 13th round as the 50th overall pick in the 2018 American Softball Association Summer League Draft, Wednesday evening.
  • Dolphins' Season Draws to a Close in ASUN Tournament

    Jacksonville University softball closed out the 2018 season in the semifinals of the ASUN Conference Tournament after dropping Thursday’s opener to #1 Kennesaw State, 8-3, and the nightcap to #3 USC Upstate, 2-0, at Stetson’s Patricia Wilson Field.
  • Dolphins Upset Lipscomb in ASUN Opening Round

    Led by an outstanding performance from sophomore Alyssa Bilodeau in the circle and a three-run home run from freshman Serena Quinata, the #5 seed Jacksonville University softball avenged last year’s ASUN Tournament elimination with a 7-0 victory over the #4 seed Lipscomb in the opening round , Wednesday evening at Stetson’s Patricia Wilson Field.
  • Trio of Dolphins Earn All-ASUN Accolades

    A trio of players for Jacksonville University softball were recognized by the ASUN Conference for the athletic achievements on the field this season. Seniors Heather Roberts and Allie McCourt were All-ASUN First Team selections, while Hannah Roberts was named to the ASUN All-Freshman Team, as announced by the league Tuesday afternoon.

    Excelling on the field and in the classroom, Jacksonville University had a pair of seniors named to the ASUN Conference All-Academic Team, as announced by the league Monday afternoon. Senior Heather Roberts is a two-time selection to the team, while it is classmate Danielle Baker’s first time being named to the team.

The Dolphins and Eagles square off Saturday, April 21 for a doubleheader at 4 p.m. and 6 p.m., and close out the series on Sunday, April 22 at 10 a.m.

Saturday’s games, originally slated for 4 p.m. and 6 p.m., were moved up to 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. due to impending severe weather. Sunday’s game will remain at 1 p.m.
