Former Jacksonville women's lacrosse standout Hannah Wilcox enters her second year as a member of the athletic department staff in 2018. Beginning this year, she will serve as the human resources coordinator for the athlethic department, as well as the assistant to Athletic Director Alex Ricker-Gilbert.
A midfielder on the Dolphins' women's lacrosse team from 2014-17, she played in 78 career matches, netting 63 goals and adding 36 assists for a total of 99 points. Along with assisting the team in capturing three ASUN Tournament Championships and advancing to the NCAA Tournament in each of those years, she was named the Conference Tournament MVP her senior year, scoring six points en-route to the team's fourth league title in five years. She served as a Team Captain during her final two years on the field.
A native of McMurray, Pa., Wilcox scored over 200 goals and 100 assists in her high school career while playing for Peters Township High School in Pittsburgh. She earned a pair of U.S. Lacrosse First-Team All-American nods following her junior and senior campaigns, and also made the Academic All-American Team both seasons.
Off the field, she served as a Financial Representative Intern with Northwestern Mutual in Jacksonville during the summer of 2016, and later worked as an Assistant Financial Representitave with the company from August 2016-February 2017. She interned with MCC Sports Inc. from February-December 2015.
Wilcox earned a bachelor's in Sports Business with a minor in Education from Jacksonville in 2017, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a 3.76 GPA. She is currently pursuing a Master's of Business Administration.
