Previously serving as an intern with the Jacksonville University strength and conditioning team since the fall of 2015, Jonathan McNemar was promoted to graduate assistant a year later.
He will serve as the program's first GA, working primarily with men's lacrosse, football, and basketball.
During his athletic career, McNemar was a four-year letter winner in football at Fairmont State University from 2008-2013. During his 2009 season, McNemar was awarded the Iron Falcon Award which is given to the strongest and most dedicated offensive/defensive lineman in the weight room. In 2009, McNemar also competed in the NASA WV Open Championships where he finished first place in his division in the push-pull category.
McNemar holds his certification through CSCCa (SCCC) and is certified in Blood Flow Restriction training through ORS.
McNemar received his bachelor's in exercise science with a minor in nutrition from Fairmont State University in 2013, and is currently enrolled at Jacksonville University in the Masters of Kinesiology program.
A native of Charlton Heights, W.V., he currently resides in Jacksonville with his wife Katelyn McNemar and son Liam.
