Mitch joined the Jacksonville University staff in July 2017 as an Assistant Athletic Trainer working with the Men's Basketball team.
Prior to working at JU, Mitch spent 2015-2017 at Kennesaw State University working as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer for the Football and Women’s Lacrosse teams. While there, he earned his Master’s in Sports Medicine through Georgia State University.
Mitch earned her bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training through Minnesota State University Mankato in May of 2015.
He is a Licensed Athletic Trainer by the State of Florida Department of Health, Certified Athletic Trainer by the National Athletic Trainers' Association Board of Certification, and is a member of NATA. Mitch is certified by the American Red Cross in CPR, AED and First Aid.
Mitch, a South Dakota native, currently resides in Jacksonville, FL with his wife, Shealyn, and puppy, Nala.
