Volleyball hosts Dolphins’ Sand & Green Challenge on April 7
Come and enjoy the Florida sunshine at Jacksonville University with the Dolphins’ Sand & Green Volleyball Challenge on April 7.

This tournament is a fundraiser to benefit the JU volleyball program and introduce the new coaching staff to the community.

There will be three divisions (two grass, one sand) located at the Dolphin Beach Volleyball Complex for teams of four to six people. The entry fee is $100 per squad and can be won back for the prize in the sand division. Other prizes include JU volleyball apparel.

“We are super excited to kick-off our first fundraising effort in this new era for Jacksonville volleyball,” JU head coach Michelle Collier said. “One of my top priorities coming in to this program was to enhance our fundraising efforts and therefore our involvement with the Jacksonville community.

“I believe our goal of becoming a top program in the A-Sun and in the nation will depend on our annual giving and fundraising efforts. The vision is to include facility enhancements, equipment upgrades and recruiting budget. I hope everyone can join us for a fun day of volleyball, sun, fun and sportsmanship in support of our talented young women.”

Participants can sign up by printing the flyer above and turning it back into the JU volleyball office by April 4 at 3 p.m. For more information, please email volleyball @ju.edu or call the coaching staff at 904-256-7405.
